When the rescue centre first started in 2006 we housed less than 100 animals, today the number is over 1,000 and growing almost on a weekly basis. As well as our rescue work other aspects of our work include the following:

 

•     Publicising and promoting animal rescue & welfare.

•     Consultants on conservation matters.

•     Education & research working with many local schools, youth groups & local organisations.

•     Work with groups and individuals that have 'special needs'.

•     Being part of groups which include other like-minded organisations.

 

As a charity, Wetheriggs Animal Rescue relies on the generosity of its members and supporters. One of the best ways you can support us is to leave us a gift in your will.

Leaving a legacy to Wetheriggs Animal Rescue is really simple. Your solicitor will be able to help you amend your existing will to include Wetheriggs Animal Rescue as a beneficiary. You will just need our address which can be found at the bottom of this page, and our registered charity number which is 1131536

If you haven't created a will, a solicitor will be able to help you through the process.

Remember you do not pay any inheritance tax on any gifts to a charity.
